Games
Wolf's Head Productions can provide you with activitiesthat can fit into your Medieval or Renaissance event. Games allow yourguests to participate, turning your event into an adventure. We have games for children of all ages.These Games are not 'arcade type' games that require a trick or gimmick towin. All of these activities are genuine games of skill, many of which arestill being played throughout England even today.
These activities can be hiredindividually or in groups to form a package. They can also be used inconjunction with other programs, such as those found on our ThemedEvents page. Most booths require a Wolf's Head employee tooperate them. Some booths have the option of being just an equipmentrental. Where this is the case, it is noted in their description.
Sink the Armada
Adventure on the high seas. Throw beanbag cannon balls and knock down hinged wood panels with ships of the armadapainted on them. This booth is recommended for those twelve andunder. Each booth comes with two armadas, eighteen bean bags, and a frontcounter to throw from. Booth comes with or without an outdoor three sided enclosure made of stockadefencing. Period signs for the booth and rope & postcue lines are also available.

Frog Toss
First you aim your catapult towards thelily pad of your choice. Next, you place the frog where the froggoes. Then, you apply the mallet where the mallet goes. Result? 'Frogs in flight'. This time honored game is a favorite for both the youngand the young at heart.
Each booth comes with two frog catapults, fourwooden mallets, four lily pads, eight bean bag frogs, and a frontcounter to catapult from. Booth comes with or without an outdoor three sided enclosure made of stockadefencing. Period signs for the booth and rope & postcue lines are also available.

Dobbers
Dobbers is a ring tossgame that is the miniature version of the game of Quoits. The game ofQuoits is the ancestor of the of modern Horseshoes. It has been played inEngland, Scotland, and Wales for many centuries and is even rumored to have beenpresent at the first Olympics. The object of the game is to toss fourrings onto a playing square. The square consists of two concentriccircles, each with a designated point value, and a post in the verycenter. Where the rings land determine the throwers score. Dobberscan be played as either a one or two person game.
Each booth comes with two Dobber boards,sixteen rings, and a frontcounter to throw from. Booth comes with or without an outdoor three sided enclosure made of stockadefencing. Period signs for the booth and rope & postcue lines are also available.

Shove Groat
Shove Groat was originallya coin game, played in taverns. To make the game more visual, we haveincreased the size of it's components. Participants, using only theirthumbs, propel a disk (a Groat) down the length of a table. The table isdivided into sections, each having a point value. This can be played aseither a one or two person game.
Each booth comes with two playing tablesand twelve (12) Shove Groats. Booth comes with or without an outdoor three sided enclosure made of stockadefencing. Period signs for the booth and rope & postcue lines are also available.

Archery
Relive the days of Robin Hood. Whatperiod event would be complete without an opportunity for your guests to see ifthey too can split an arrow. You can run archery tournaments or simplyopen the booth for recreational shooting.
This booth is recommended for ages eight andup. A booth unit consists of three (3) shooting stalls, each with built-inquivers. Each unit comes with six (6) recurve bows and one hundred (100)arrows. All bows come with molded grips to fit both left and right handedshooters. The pull strength of the bows range from 20-35lb. Additional bows or arrows are available. Period signs for the booth and rope & postcue lines are also available.
Dagger Throw
Being able to throw a dagger accurately could mean the differencebetween success and failure on the next great adventure. So, to give thosewould be adventurers (and rogues) an opportunity to brush up on their skills, weoffer a dagger throwing booth.
Each booth comes with two targets, ten throwingdaggers, and a front counter for throwing from. The three walls of the booth are made of stockadefencing. Period signs for the booth and rope & post cue lines are alsoavailable.
This is an outdoor booth only.
Axe Throw
This is the booth that 'separates the men fromthe boys'. The Axe Throw is a test of both strength and skill. Thisactivity will appeal to the Viking inside all of us.
Each booth comes with two targets, tenthrowing axes, and a front counter to throw from. The three walls of the booth are made of stockadefencing. Period signs for the booth and rope & post cue linesare also available.
This is an outdoor booth only.
The Stocks
This booth is not available until February 2001
This booth does not require a Wolf's Heademployee to operate it.
Rounders
Rounders can arguably be called the ancestor ofmodern baseball. The playing area is basically the same, but the fun isten times bigger. Perfect for small groups or large gatherings. Eachset comes with two (2) bats, three (3) balls, and instructions for game play.Costumed instructors are available to teach and run the game.
