Our Company's History

Pro Image Dist., Co. was established in 1999 in an effort to promote the Pro Trigger Release fish hook remover. We are happy to say our personal efforts are allowing a small family run business to compete in the giant Sprotfishing Industry! We our located in the small mid-thunb town of Brown City, Michigan. A community that we our proud to say still holds that small town USA feeling. A place where you are greeted by neighbors and local business people on a first name basis! The area is greatly related to the agricultural way of life along with being a growing community for people commuting back towards the Detroit metropolitan area! We carry that home town feeling practice directly to our customer relations. After all, you are the reason we our able to enjoy our sucess! As our company grows, we will retain that personal touch with our customers, knowing small town USA is there for you too!

Public Affairs & Community Involvment

One of our primary goals at Pro Image is to assure our fishing heritage in this country is carried on by generations to come! For the second year in a row, we are proud to be involved with the American Sportfishing Association! The organization is a national alliance of comapnies and organizations that with joint efforts, help promote many positive programs. One of the efforts that our company will be promoting this year is the Hooked On Fishing Not Drugs program. This wonderful program allows children of all ages a chance to have a positive outlook on life while enjoying and learning about the great outdoors! We look forward to being invovled with starting a local chapter! The ASA is also representing you as outdoor enthusiasts, on the polictical homefront! Many acts and laws now being passed is a direct result of heavy lobby efforts in Washington by the organiztion! We are proud to say, we will be involved with this organization for years to come! Pro Image Dist., Co has also been directly involved with the Michigan Department of Natural Resources. For the past two years, the Pro Trigger Release has been donated, along with our time volunteered at the Michigan's State Fair Pocket Park! This program is a wonderful chance for many children and adults alike to experience fishing for the first time! This truly is one of our highlights of being involved with youth in the Metro-Detroit area! The youth of today is our only chance to ensure one of America's favorite past times will be here for future generations to enjoy and Pro Image will be there doing there part.

Joesph Walter Biel
Born: 1955 in Youngstown, Ohio
Educational Background
Graduated: Lowellville High School in 1973
Graduated: Pittsburg Institute of Aeronautics in 1975
Gruduated: Ohio State Highway Patrol/Pre Basic Police Academy in 1979
Macomb College: 1984-85, related classes:Plastic Injection Molding
Present Occupational History
Currently involved in the plastic injection tooling industry. The skills developed through 18 years in this field allowed me to create my own tooling to produce the Pro Trigger Release. As I am currently still active in the trade, my number one priority is to develope new an inovative products involving the sportfishing industry and eventually promoting my business to be recognized as a leader and educator in outdoor related products and information! As a dedicated outdoor enthusiast, I have made a personal pledge to myself and everyone that enjoys the great outdoors to continue my quest to supply qaulity products and educational information for our future generations to come.

Business As A Family!

I would like to deticate this portion of my information to my wonderful wife of 19 years, Christine. She is my life and support that has allowed me to deticate so much time in my efforts to make Pro Image Dist., Co. a success! Also I would like to thank my stepson Ron & his wife Jennifer and my grand-daughter Karley, who by the way is only 3 years old and already a great angler! My stepdaughter Jamie & her husband Jeremy who are expecting their first child in September, and my son Joey who has been my fishing partner for as long as I can remember! Thanks to all of them for being there for me. God gave me a true gift when all these people came into my life and I owe a great deal of my success to them. They are as much of this company as myself and my success is owed to their support!
